  1. Bonnie Ross says:

As a volunteer at The Globe in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, I am deeply saddened by the continuous downfall of our live music venues. Venues that support and encourage new and upcoming talent over a vast array of genres. My goal is to gain skill in the music Industry so I may become a promotor for such Bands that get very little recognition. As The Globe is a community run and funded organisation, or to be more precise, Odyssey Creative Productions is community run and funded, we have very little finances to go on and we accept help where ever and whenever we can however our future is uncertain. I recently heard that The Troubador is to close now, yet another Live Music Venue. I firmly believe we, Brisbane, need to rally together to save the talent and Live Music of Brisbane and to prove we are just as good as, if not better, than the top shots down south. We are Brisbane, We are proud, Save Live Music, Sing Out Loud!!!!!!
