Geraint Davies, Chair
Former Australian Radio Network (ARN) and iHeartRadio Chief Operating Officer Geraint Davies was elected Chairperson of the MMAD board in 2021 after joining the team in 2019. Geraint brings a wealth of music industry experience and multidimensional operating and governance skills, along with a genuine drive to make a long-term positive difference in the lives of children and young people through the power of music.

John Riley, Director
Allied health director and proprietor John Riley has invested operational and directorship guidance into our charitable organisation for over a decade. John’s unwavering commitment to youth health stems from his extensive involvement in industry and community leadership which spans a 20-year period. His role within MMAD also harnesses a passion for music and nostalgia for days as a pioneer in Australian hip hop and funk from 1987! John is also proud father of 6.

Annette Sherwood, Secretary
Annette Sherwood’s passion for, and commitment to our charity is matched by 25 years of industry experience leading not-for-profit organisations. Her expertise in child safety, compliance, management, program development and coordination, alongside qualifications inclusing MACAPCA, Advanced Diploma Social Science, Advanced Diploma Counselling Communication, matched by her deep and detailed understanding of MMAD’s inner workings, ensures our board receives detailed information to support important decision making. Annette’s contribution towards our cause surpasses a decade.

Dom & Em Brook, MMAD Parents
When Dom & Em met in 2003, they made a pact to help children and young people in need: if by the following Christmas they’d not made a difference, they were not meant to be! And so, with Dom’s unwavering belief and social-entrepreneurial beginnings, alongside Emma’s heart and drive, MMAD came to life. Building upon foundational education in juvenile justice, youth work and music business, alongside individual qualifications in youth mental heath, business management, holistic counselling & WHS consultancy, MMAD has grown into a national charity with a beautiful team and a remarkable network of support. Two decades of dedication on the frontline has rewarded them with testimonials of change across two generations.

Mukesh Chander, Advisor
During a career in the higher education sector spanning greater than 15 years, Mukesh has worked at senior executive level directing strategy and operations at various internationally recognised institutions, including COO, Legal Counsel and Company Secretary at the Australian Institute of Music Ltd (AIM). Mukesh brings to MMAD an excellent understanding of the domestic and international education sector combined with strong commercial awareness and a successful legal background. He provides guidance for all legal operations with a focus on furthering our cause whilst adhering to industry specific policy and compliance frameworks.

Phil Nunn, Advisor
Phil Nunn is a psychologist, counsellor and educator with over 22 years’ experience working primarily with marginalised and at-risk young people. Phil supports MMAD with courses in communication and counselling skills and provides specialised training our team of youth workers about homelessness, mental health issues, suicide risk assessment, substance use/abuse, Autism, ADHD and Conduct Disorders. As a psychologist with expertise in alternate approaches, using music making and other forms of creative expression as therapeutic tools, Phil performs program impact audits for MMAD.

Jade Harley, Advisor
Jade Harley has been an important part of our MMAD family for over 3 years. As a respected creative company leader and marketer with over 20 years’ experience in Australia, Jade brings to our team much needed specialist skills, experience & strategic clarity. Her growing contribution generates unprecedented industry and community awareness for our charity & her passion for our cause is always an inspirational driving force.
